What era does the story draw inspiration from?

The story takes inspiration from Egypt’s late Pre-Dynastic and early Dynastic eras, a time when deities, ancestors, and shifting kingdoms shaped every destiny. While the setting draws from real history and culture, many details are reimagined to give the world its own rhythm of myth and truth.

How was the novel written, given the complexity of language and lore?

Though English is not my first language, I approached the writing with care, seeking external resources and supportive readers to refine grammar, structure, and tone. Every idea, character, and element, originated with me and Motaz. We stood by each creative choice, using guidance and feedback only to ensure the words carried our vision faithfully, not to alter its essence.

What can readers expect in the future, both in the saga and on this website?

The world of Ancient Bloods is growing fast. Alongside the book, new games are already in development, expanding the story in ways only gameplay can.
