What era does the story draw inspiration from?

The saga draws heavily from the late Pre-Dynastic and early Dynastic periods of ancient Egypt, capturing a time when gods and ancestors guided destinies, and rival realms vied for influence.

While I have woven genuine cultural elements and details inspired by archaeological research, many timelines, traditions, and places have been adapted or reimagined for narrative depth. The result is a world that echoes historical truth but embraces myth and invention to serve the story’s heart.

How was the novel written, given the complexity of language and lore?

Though English is not my first language, I approached the writing with care, seeking external resources and supportive readers to refine grammar, structure, and tone. Every idea, character, and element, originated with me and Motaz. We stood by each creative choice, using guidance and feedback only to ensure the words carried our vision faithfully, not to alter its essence.

As for the saga, I may return to the story’s original concept... a video game experience... for a future chapter, though that decision remains on the horizon. In the meantime, the saga and this website will grow together, guiding you deeper into the tapestry of realms we’ve created.
